The Manx breed can be agressive when it comes to hunting down their pray.  They will take on animals bigger than them with out hesitation.  The appearance of a Manx is very different than any other cat breed.  Their back legs are longer than their front legs which gives them a more rounded appearance.  They have a short and stocky body type with very round eyes.

These cats are known for being very loyal and energetic.  Many people think of them as a dogs since they are so loyal to their owners.

The Manx Cat is a very intelligent and sweet tempered breed.  They are very curious and love to be involved with everything that you do.  The Manx are known for their hunting and if they become outside cats, that is exactly what they will do.  They keep their playful, young traits until the later years.  That is what makes this breed fun and exciting.  They do well with children if raised with them.  The Manx may not take well being placed as an adult into a home with children.  They prefer a more calm and quiet environment.

Japanese Bobtail

Filed under: Cat Breeds, Cats — shae @ 5:41 pm

The Japanese Bobtail breed is a very loving, affectionate and playful breed.  They are very active and love to play games.  You can even walk them on a leash as long as it’s kept playful and exciting for the cat.  They have an amazing happy spirit and personality.  This breed has a long and lean body build.  They have long hair and some have short hair.

They are known to get along well with other cats and are good with children.  The Japanese Bobtail  is a fearless cat so they do interact well with dogs.  They are very strong willed but very loyal to their family.  Just like having a dog; the Japanese Bobtail needs companionship and lots of play time to prevent boredom and in the end acting out with destructive behavior.

Kenni Rae’s Page

This is Kenni’s Cat Page….

Kenni was born in my closet just about 11 years ago… She is a domestic short haired tortoise shell cat. She was by far the most beautiful of all the other kittens of the litter. Her hair is short and soft like a chinchilla. She has vibrant green eyes that really stand out on sunny days.

Kenni layin’ low in the living room…

She likes to come and go as she pleases….what cat doesn’t.

Always a peaceful little girl…but she still has her feisty moments.

Her favorite place to hang out is the basement if she’s not outside…
Kenni is a very sweet cat. It takes a while for her to warm up to new people, especially other cats but when she finally does, she’ll be your little sidekick. She’s still very playful at 11 yrs. She has little mini soccer balls that she loves to boot around. Keeping those out around the house keeps her pretty active. I go on walks around the neighborhood and she loves to come along…she follows right by my feet. She’s great about doing her business outside, that’s what she prefers. I love to nap with her because she will cuddle right up to you and sleep as long as you do. I’m so happy to have her as my little companion.
