Russian Blue Cat
The Russian Blue breed are very independent and intelligent animals. They do tend to shy away from people they do not know. Russian Blue Cats often sneak away to a hiding spot when company arrives. They love to play and they are very affectionate with their loved ones. They are pretty easy to train and prefer routine. They don’t adapt to change very well. The Russian Blue Cat has a silver tint to their coat and very soft like a chinchilla. They have pointy ears and big round eyes.

This breed has a life expectancy of 13-15 years. They may get up to about 12 lbs. It’s important to keep them active so they do not become over weight. You should also have a steady eating routine for them so they do not free feed because that can lead to cat obesity. The Russian Blue Cat loves to play fetch just like a dog and is not a high maintenance cat by any means. They are a great animal for people who live alone or if you are a first time cat owner.
